PAK vs AUS: Australian team reached Pakistan's historic tour, players shared pictures from chartered plane

The Australian cricket team has reached Pakistan tour after almost 24 years.  The Kangaroo team will play a series of three Tests, three ODIs and one T20 match against the hosts during this period.  The Australian team, who reached Pakistan after 1998, will play their first Test match on 4 March, exactly a month later on 5 April in Rawalpindi, the tour will end with the only T20 match.  Born in Islamabad with Australian vice-captain Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja informed about reaching Pakistan on his social media account.

Australia's tour of Pakistan will be held amidst tight security.

It is being told that 4000 soldiers will be deployed for the security of the Australian team on this tour.  Nearby mobile services will be suspended during the team's journey, while metro and bus routes will also be restricted.  There will also be snipers on the buildings outside the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

In 1998, Australia had rubbed off on Pakistan.

The last time Australia toured Pakistan, they had beaten the hosts 1-0 in the three-Test series.  The first Test was won by the Kangaroos by an innings and 99 runs, while the other two Tests were drawn.  At the same time, Australia had cleaned Pakistan in the three-match ODI series.

These star Australian players will not be part of the limit over series.

Star players like David Warner, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starr and Josh Hazlewood, who visited Pakistan, will return home after playing the Test series.  He is not part of the limited overs team.  All-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been rested.
